Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe is located in Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen (about 12 km north of Karlsruhe).

There will be a dedicated shuttle bus service each day from our school hotel "Hotel Residenz" to FZK and back.

Frankfurt airport (FRA) offers the easiest train connection to Karlsruhe. From Frankfurt Fernbahnhof it takes approximately 60 minutes to Karlsruhe main station.
 
How to reach Karlsruhe by train from Frankfurt Fernbahnhof
Look at the timetables of the German train transportation "Die Bahn".
Important: Fill in "Frankfurt(M) Flughafen Fernbf" in the "From: Station/Stop" at the Query page. Look for the details of your selection. Normally the train must be changed in Mannheim.
